First steps into programming, without letting language be a barrier.

Bopa is a programming platform built to help learners begin creating with code. Its language layer can support any language, while the first ecosystem begins in Botswana.

The editor is only the beginning. Bopa can grow with learning material and work created by teachers, students, and independent creators.

Individual learners use Bopa free. Schools, colleges, curricula, and programmes can license supported use and pay for integration, implementation, customisation, evaluation, and adaptation.

AI, and physical systems.

Built by an engineer who has shipped difficult systems.

Amrit grew up in Gaborone and studied computer science at Cornell through Botswana's Top Achievers Scholarship, completing both a bachelor's and a master's degree.

At Meta Reality Labs Research, he worked on Project Aria: device streaming, telemetry, multi-sensor synchronisation, and provisioning for thousands of research devices in the field.

He later led data engineering for Nightingale, building telemetry, analytics, and machine-learning systems for a live-service game used by more than half a million players.

Today, as Lead AI Platform Engineer at FactualIQ, he builds a secure enterprise AI orchestration platform serving clients across education, finance, construction, and media. His work includes client deployments and global infrastructure for tens of thousands of parallel AI agents, from telemetry and monitoring to costing, billing, licensing, and SOC 2 compliance.

For Mopane's clients, that means combining new AI capabilities with proven software, data, and physical-systems engineering to build secure, observable, and scalable systems.
